William Morgan Ramsey

Will R. Ramsey was born in Bell County Texas on August 24, 1872. His family moved to Arkansas during his early childhood and it was there that he received musical training under E.T. Hilderbrand, S.J. Oslin, and B.C. Unseld. Mr. Ramsey was president and owner of Central Music Company of Little Rock and published song books for over twenty five years. A noted author and composer, some of his songs are “He Whispers Sweet Peace to Me”, “The Border Line”, “Some Glad Day”, and “Over Shadowed by Love’. Mr. Ramsey died on March 12, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
