Eva Mae LeFevre
Eva Mae LeFevre was born in South Carolina over a half century ago to the Reverend and Mrs. H.L. Whittingdon. She is blessed with a God-given talent for music and possesses a beautiful voice to add to her ability. She began to play the piano and sing early in life and was a great asset to her father in his ministry. In 1934 Eva Mae was married to Urias LeFevre and immediately became a part of the LeFevre Trio. To Urias and Eva Mae God gave five children along the way. Her entire life is a shining example of a talent being used for service to God and mankind. Through her dedicated, untiring work via radio, television, records, and nationwide personal appearances, Eva Mae LeFevre has indeed achieved the position of greatness among gospel musicians, singers and music lover around the world. To the LeFevres, she is “Mama”, to many in the gospel music business, she is “Queen”; to thousands who hear her music and testimony, she’s an “angel”. Whatever, the world has been blessed and life for many has been made just a little brighter because Eva Mae LeFevre came this way to “Scatter Beams of Sunshine” along the way.
She was married to Urias LeFevre and was the mother of five children.
