Albert E. Brumley, Sr.

Albert E. Brumley of Powell, Missouri, is known and loved as one of the greatest gospel song writers of all time having written such standards as “I’ll Fly Away,” “I’ll Meet You In The Morning,” “Jesus Hold My Hand,” “There’s A Little Pine Log Cabin,” and “If We Never Meet Again”. His hit gospel songs are too numerous to name as he has written hundreds of songs and they were all hits. He was a friend and associate of such gospel greats as V.O. and Frank Stamps, E.M. Bartlett, and J.R. Baxter, Jr. Together with his sons he owns and operates two gospel music publishing firms, Albert E. Brumley & Sons and Hartford Music Company. His humility and “down-to-earth” manner endear him to all he meets.
